Pre-assembled Nanodiscs

Pre-assembled nanodiscs are assembled with specific MSP and phospholipids. Its intended purpose is to stabilize a cell-free expressed membrane protein. In this process, pre-assembled nanodiscs are supplied in the mixture that integrate the nascent membrane protein, and detergents are not required, minimizing possible artifacts. Based on our advanced nanodisc technology, Alfa Chemistry have developed various pre-assembled nanodiscs composed of different MSPs (MSP1D1, MSP1E3D1, and MSP2N2) and phospholipids (1,2-Dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (POPC), 1,2-Dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DMPC), and 1,2-dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoglycerol (DMPG)).

Depending on the assembled phospholipids, our pre-assembled nanodiscs can be divided into the following three series: Pre-assembled Nanodiscs (MSP with POPC), Pre-assembled Nanodiscs (MSP with DMPC), Pre-assembled Nanodiscs (MSP with DMPG).
